DC takes a closer look at five middle segment color laser printers. Prices range from 400 to 700 Euros. Print speed averages 20 pages per minute in color and in black.
The test reveals major differences in handling and quality of print.
More serious discrepancies are found in cost of print. We check cost of print ourselves, and do not use information given by the manufacturer. The lab determines a range of cost between very expensive 60 Cent to an advantageous 26 Cent for an A4 color page.
