Comparative Test Color Lasers up to 700 Euros: Energy costs: Current consumption
To determine current consumption in standby mode, DC uses an "Energy-Monitor-3000". In addition to that the lab checks, whether or not the printers draw electric current when switched off.
All printers have a circuit breaker, but HP´s CP2025n still uses 0,4 watts when switched off.
The brother draws a lot of electric current in standby mode. We think Brother should do something about that in succeeding models.
