Comparison of Technologies Ink versus Laser: Comparison of Technologies: Ink versus Laser
If your office requires a simple, fast, and cost-efficient printer, you normally either choose a monochrome laser or an ink-jet printer. Our lab compares both technologies in regard to speed and quality of print, features, and cost of print.
For that task our lab chose a Brother HL-2150N, which works with toner powder and is equipped with a network interface.
This printer´s price and features can compare with a Hewlett-Packard Officejet Pro 8000, which holds a network interface as well but is stocked with four ink-cartridges.
- Brother HL-2150N…
...with toner cartridge, for some 180 Euros. - HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809a…
...with ink cartridges, about 150 Euros.
