Test color laser HP Color Laserjet CP1215 and CP1515n: Layout II: Drivers and Accessories
HP has been working on simplifying the use of the drivers. Successfully, it seems to us. Recurrent print jobs can be stored and easily retrieved.
Printer languages of the CP1515n are PCL and Postscript. The PCL driver is available on HP´s website only.
Toolbox tells you everything
The CP1515n´s display is not easy to read. The CP1215 has none. A revised Toolbox provides lots of information on printer and print history and is by far a better solution. The potential for individual adjustments goes way beyond the eyeryday printing job (picture left side). Cartridges, which are wrongly inserted, are indicated in the toolbox, too (picture right side).

The toolbox offers a short animated training course (picture right side), how to improve print quality. It is recommended for newbies starting to use a laser printer and gives first impressions how to deal with a printer driver.
