Comparative Test of 8 MFCs with Fax: Interfaces
All contestants connect to the PC via USB. Brother MFC-5860CN, MFC-845CW, HP Officejet Pro L7580, and Lexmark X9350 connect via LAN as well, Brother MFC-845CW and Lexmark X9350 do that via WLAN. All have a phone, except for the Kodak MFC, which has no fax.

Kodak Easyshare 5300
If you put a memory-stick or -card in Kodak´s Easyshare 5300, you can only copy data in one direction, that is on your PC. Vice versa doesn´t work. And your datas´ names are abridged to eight characters, just like in good old DOS-times. Kodak tells us that it built in a reading-device for direct print, nothing else. Pictures are supposed to have better quality than the ones produced by other manufacturers, whose MFCs reduce resolution due to lack of memory.
