Comparative Test of 8 MFCs with Fax: Cost of Print
We do not count on information given by manufacturers. Our lab checks the cost of print by using standardized documents. A complete set of cartridges is used until empty or the printer refuses to continue printing. If a printer has several exchangeable cartridges, we determine the unused inks with a precision scale, and consider their value when calculating the cost of print.
If you print a lot, a closer look at the table below can help you to save a lot of money. Cost of print varies tremendously. You can pay as much as 8.4 Euro-Cents for a simple page of text in A4, or as little as 1.4 Euro-Cents. Just as well printing in color. If you decide to buy the Lexmark, it will cost you 94 Euro-Cent to print our testdocument. The Kodak will do the same job for 32 Euro-Cent.
