Canon Pixma iP4300 and Pixma iP3300: Print quality and speed: Graphics print
DC graphics test
To test graphics print speed and quality we use vector graphics (see picture on the right), processed by Coreldraw.
If you want to test your own printer, go to our Download area. There you find a zipped version of the test file. If you like, you can write your own review.
Our lab prints the test file on Canon High Resolution Paper (HR-101N). Driver setting for quality is "high". Click the pictures to enlarge a segment of the test file
To print the graphics test file, both printers need nearly as much time as for the test photo. With the iP3300 it takes two minutes and 49 seconds, the iP4300 has finished printing in one minute and 38 seconds. The only faster one is the iP5200, delivering the graphics test in one minute and 27 seconds.
Print quality is excellent. With the iP3300 grey areas have a slight reddish color cast, the iP4300 drifts to the blue side. Deviation from neutral grey, however, is minimal.
