Canon Pixma iP4300 and Pixma iP3300: New looks for an allrounder
The iP4300 is successor to the iP4200 for the same price and with an equally good outfit. The cheaper iP3300 has no duplex unit and no print on CD. Other details are missing as well.
They both can print over the edge, and sport a PictBridge interface and a second paper tray.
Both use single ink cartridges, well known from iP4200 and iP5200.
A chip prevents the use of rebuilt cartridges. No other manufacturer is able to produce and sell compatible ones yet. Refilling is possible, however.
Druckerchannel bottom line
High print speeds in all tests, a good outfit and, in general, good test results are distinguishing features of the iP4300.
If you can do without the iP4300´s outfit, accept a slightly slower print speed and don´t need photo realistic print, you are well off with the cheaper iP3300.
