Workshop: Replace waste ink tanks of Epson C & D-models

Step 7: Counter reset

If you have replaced the waste ink pads successfully, the appropriate counters of the printers have to be reset. This can be done with a specific (and model-dependent) key combination or by software.

You can find the "SSC Service Utility" (Freeware, Windows) here: www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml. This tool resets the counter.

Install the tool and choose your printer, then run "Protection counter", and "Reset protection counter" from the system tray (in the task bar).
