Measuring device: Determine your power consumption.

Meanwhile most manufacturers of printers determine power consumption according to Energy-Star, so we publish these data (in sleep mode). Costs are calculated on a rate of 20 cents per kilowatt hour, grossed up for one year.

The sleep mode (also called Eco- or Standby mode) holds the printer in readyness for a fast next print-, scan-, fax-, or copy-job. In off-mode the power consumption is higher (average 1 watt), but it takes much longer to start a new job.
