Comparative Test: Eleven multifunction printers

In this test DC evaluates eleven AIO´s in a price range from 90 to 300 Euros. Differences in layout, speed of print, and, most of all, cost of print are huge. DC assists in choosing the appropriate AIO.

Text print: Quality

To test text quality, our lab uses a ten-page document, containing a company logo, a small table, and a diagram. We use three different modes:

  • Fast print (lowest resolution / black)
  • Normal print (no modification in the drivers ) and
  • Quality print (highest quality on normal copy paper)

Printing text all AÍO´s do well. Only when printing fast, both Epson´s print pretty fuzzy and in some places almost illegible.
