Comparative Test: HP Officejet Pro 8500 vs.Samsung CLX-3175FW

Quality Of Print: Copies

AIOs can copy graphics, photos or text. The templates are scanned and sent to the printer. Both AIOs can copy without using a PC. The lab shows, how well they do their copy work.

Samsung CLX-3175FW: Copying via feed or flatbed scanner.

Text copy

HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless AIO: Text copy with distinct frayed edges.

Samsung CLX-3175FW: Text copy in very good quality.

Photostats

HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless AIO: Balanced colors and relativly fine raster.

Samsung CLX-3175FW: Colors too pale with definite raster.

When copying using the feed scanner, Samsungs AIO is unable to scan the lower edge of a sheet correctly. Result with a copy: The lower edge of a sheet is printed oblique.

Annoying: The bottom edge of a sheet is always oblique.
