Warranty

Nowadays warranty is a knock-out criterium. DC names the times of warranty, special offers, and checks, how the manufacturer communicates warranty.

Warranty HP-printer: 36 months (after registration) with onsite-exchange-service within 24 hours

Warranty Samsung-printer: 24 months with onsite-service

Mistakable Samsung website: On Samsung´s website you see a logo (screenshot below), which says „3 years warranty“. This makes you believe it applies to the CLP-300N, since it is shown on this printer´s site. But the message is valid for selected products only – not for the CLP-300N.

HP hides it's light under a bushel: In it´s specifications (screenshot below) you read about a one year warranty. There´s no word about HP´s 3-year warranty after registration, which will in addition surprise you with a freebie XL-cartridge.
