Control panels, Displays

Most of a printer´s capacities can be selected via the driver.

But if you want to see, how many pages have been printed so far, you often have walk to your printer and work yourself through the menu.

The more you can access from your workplace, the better. We take Hewlett Packard`s printers as a bad and a good example.

There are toner level indicators in their displays, which are very inaccurate, a nuisance.

And there is HP`s software "Toolbox", a treasure for people looking for information (picture bottom line, right), much better and more informative than the displays.
