Comparative Test 9 ink All-in-Ones up to 200 Euros: Photo print: Quality
To assess quality of photo print, and scrutinizing colors, sharpness of contrast, and resolution, our lab displays a scan of the blue-yellow parrot (dc_fotoyield.)
To assess attention to detail and reproduction of skin tones, our lab shows a clip of the Fuji-test page and the small eye in the center of DC´s A4 test photo.

Only a very close look at the test results of the Brother AIOs shows a little grain. Colors are not overdone, the photo leaves a balanced impression.
Intensive colors are printed by both Canon AIOs. Resolution is very good, grain almost indiscernible.
Prints of the Epson Stylus AIOs are distinguishable at first glance. They are coarse-grained, and look fairly well only from a distance. Colors are not very intensive.
Printouts by the HP AIOs are on a similar high level like the Canons. Colors are somewhat less intensive. Canons contrast is better. Missing contrast with the HPs makes them look a little blurred.
The Lexmark prints livid and bright colors. A closer look reveals some grain and bands.
