Canon Pixma iP4300 and Pixma iP3300: Print quality and speed: Text
DC test letter
Mischdokument mit 10 Seiten: dc business 10seiten.doc.The lab uses two documents to test print speed and quality. One, called "Dr.-Grauert-Brief", is a normal text for testing the copy mode. Here we find out, whether or not the manufacturer exaggerated when referring to print speed. This letter can be found in our Download area.
In a second test we print a ten-sided text (Druckerchannel-Business-Letter). Besides the text it contains a company logo, a small table, and a pie-chart. This letter is printed in three modes: Normal mode (no change in the driver), fast mode (lowest resolution), and best quality (highest resolution). We show you the results below. Click to enlarge.

When printing text both Canons are pretty fast. The iP3300 prints slower than the iP4300, however (details see table above).
The iP4300 is faster than other models made by HP when printing our test document Business-letter. Printing the "Dr. Grauert-Brief" it´s only insignificantly slower than the HPs Deskjet 6940 and 6980
